Yosef Lang
Dr. Yosef Lang (1944-2013), born in Petah Tikva, graduated from local schools and earned both a master’s degree and a doctorate from Bar-Ilan University. He worked for 38 years in the Ministry of Education as a teacher, school principal, inspector, and deputy director of the Central District. A researcher of Israeli history, he is the author of numerous books and articles on education and culture in Israel. He received the Yitzhak Ben-Zvi Prize for his book on Eliezer Ben-Yehuda and has served as a scientific advisor to the Oded Yarkoni Archive for the History of Petah Tikva.
