An Autumn in Tbilisi (2013)
A book by Hedva Rokach and Itay Bahur offering a cultural and historical perspective on Georgia, its modern development, and the formation of national identity. The book includes translations of Georgian poetry and ancient myth, as well as documentation of lesser-known cultural sites. It was translated into Georgian and published by Intellecti, and later served as a basis for lectures and cultural and educational activities in both Israel and Georgia.
• Books on Georgian Jewry and Georgian Literature (2017–2019)
A series of publications including an annotated edition on the history of Georgian Jewry alongside Hebrew translations of modern Georgian literature and poetry. The projects were produced in collaboration with Prof. Mamuka Butskhrikidze from Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, and with the participation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, the Embassy of Georgia in Israel, and the National Book Center of Georgia. The publications contributed to making Georgian culture accessible to Israeli audiences and deepening cultural dialogue between the two countries.
• Tbilisi Dream (2017)
A photographic retrospective by Hedva Rokach documenting fieldwork in Georgia between 2009 and 2015. The book presents urban spaces, marginal figures, and everyday life, reflecting broader social and cultural processes in contemporary Georgia. The project was selected by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia as a flagship initiative marking 25 years of diplomatic relations between Georgia and Israel.
• Mtatsminda Pantheon Mapping Project (2015)
A documentation and mapping project of the Mtatsminda Pantheon in Tbilisi, the national burial site of Georgia’s leading writers, artists, and intellectuals. The project was carried out by Hedva Rokach and Itay Bahur, translated by Prof. Mamuka Butskhrikidze, and represents a cultural and research contribution to the preservation of Georgia’s national heritage.

Selected Projects
Within this framework, organizations such as Mabat, which trains multicultural community leaders, and the Arab–Jewish Partnership – Hof HaCarmel Municipalities, which organizes joint field activities, meetings, and community events, take part in the projects. Photographer and artist Hedva Rokach documents these activities through artistic photography and participates in selected training programs, while Itay Bahur Publishing contributes editing, translation, and design.
In addition, Rokach and the publishing house initiated the photography project Dolls and Dreams in Wadi Ara, Israel, resulting in the trilingual art book Dolls, Wadi Ara. The initiative also led to joint Jewish–Arab photography tours in Baqa al-Gharbiyya, in collaboration with participating organizations and academic and community institutions. These tours are designed to encourage personal encounters, promote dialogue, and strengthen relationships between communities.
