Tuvia Israeli

Tuvia Israeli is a former Israeli consul and ambassador who served for decades in Israel’s foreign service. His postings included Egypt, Paraguay, Sweden, South Korea, as well as assignments at the United Nations and within Israeli government institutions.

Born to Holocaust survivor parents, Tuvia Israeli immigrated to Israel at age seven and grew up through the country’s absorption system, military service, and higher education before entering diplomatic service.

His writing draws on years of diplomatic experience alongside personal reflection on identity, belonging, and public service.
