Moshe Yoel Pintauss

Prof. Moshe Yoel Pintauss (1933-2012) was Professor Emeritus at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, specializing in field crops and genetics. A pioneer in developing wheat (Alpha 1972), sunflower, maize, and other crops, he documented pre-state agricultural research after retirement. His scientific expertise and personal connection to the “founding generation” of the Faculty of Agriculture provide the book with unique historical and scientific value.
