Yossef Charny
Dr. Yossef Charny was a historian specializing in World War I in the Middle East and the British Mandate in Palestine. He holds a PhD from Bar-Ilan University, focusing on the integration of Jews into senior positions within the British administration. Cherney is a board member of the Association for World War I Heritage in Israel and serves as editor of its bulletin. He has published numerous scholarly articles, including research on – Jewish soldiers in British and Ottoman forces during World War I.
