Yael Levy

Yael Levy (1933-2020) was an independent researcher of medical history in the Land of Israel. A graduate of the School of Physiotherapy affiliated with Assaf Harofeh Hospital, she worked at Rambam and Fliman hospitals in Haifa. Following her retirement,and togeather with her husband Prof Nissim Levy, she devoted many years to the collection, verification, and editing of biographical material on physicians in the Land of Israel, working extensively with archives, families, and primary sources.
