Peter Kachker

Peter Kachker is an Israeli biochemist and microbiologist specializing in clinical microbiology and infectious diseases. He is the author of Five Days in Av, documenting the first five days of the 2006 Lebanon War from the perspective of the “Venus” platoon soldiers. His research includes bacterial characterization and the development of advanced diagnostic methods, in collaboration with leading research institutions and medical centers in Israel.
